Dindigul City Guide
Dindigul is an ancient settlement of Tamil Nadu located between Palani and Sirumala Hills. The city of Dindigul was ruled by several dynasties at different times including the Early Pandyas, the later Pandyas, the Vijayanagar Empire and Madurai Nayak Empire. Famous for the Dindigul Rock Fort, the place has some interesting and important historical places like Begambur Big Mosque and Sri Kottai Mariamman Kovil.
